Modern slavery & human trafficking
The company’s current modern slavery reporting position and a proposed voluntary approach to responsible business and suppliers.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Current reporting position
Autonomous Software Systems Ltd has confirmed annual turnover below £36 million. Based on that confirmation, it does not currently meet the turnover threshold for mandatory annual reporting under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Relevant group/subsidiary turnover and the other statutory conditions should be reviewed each financial year.
Being below the reporting threshold is not an exemption from laws prohibiting slavery, servitude, forced labour or human trafficking. This page does not claim that audits, supplier due diligence or staff training have already taken place.
Government guidance on annual modern slavery statements ↗Recommended voluntary policy
For company approval: reject slavery, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking in company operations and supply relationships. Set proportionate expectations for suppliers and provide a clear route to raise concerns.
- Assign a director to own the policy and review it annually.
- Map material suppliers and assess risk by service, geography and labour practices rather than assuming software suppliers are risk-free.
- Use proportionate supplier checks and contractual expectations; record concerns, decisions and follow-up.
- Provide relevant staff with awareness and escalation guidance.
- Investigate credible concerns, protect those raising concerns in good faith, and consider remediation and proportionate supplier action.
- Keep evidence of steps actually taken and review their effectiveness before publishing any annual statement.
Reporting concerns
Contact info@cogsys.app with a concern relating to the company or its suppliers. Do not send information that would put someone at risk. If someone is in immediate danger in the UK, call 999. Suspected exploitation can also be reported through appropriate police or specialist channels.
If statutory reporting becomes applicable
Prepare a statement for each relevant financial year describing actual steps taken, obtain board approval and a director’s signature, and publish a prominent homepage link. Do not backdate approval or present proposed measures as completed actions. A statutory statement must identify the reporting period and approval/signature details.
