Cookies & browser storage
Information about cookies, local storage, external fonts and consent on the public CDS website.

What this notice covers
Cookies and similar technologies can store or access information on your device. UK PECR rules apply to technologies such as local storage as well as cookies. A technology’s purpose, not simply its name or provider, determines whether consent or an exception applies.
Public website and form
The public website has no configured advertising or conventional analytics integration in its application code. The access form uses temporary page state to display the form, sending status and confirmation. Its submission is saved on the server, not as a marketing cookie.
The shared client includes session-persistence support, which can use local storage if an authentication session is present. This public website offers no client sign-in. Preview/editor storage is separate from the public marketing experience. These capabilities do not establish that a particular storage entry is set for every visitor.
The final inventory must identify any entries actually used in production, their provider, purpose and duration, including infrastructure or security technologies. A consent banner should not be used as a substitute for that assessment.
External fonts and technical requests
Inter is loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. These requests expose your IP address and request/browser information to Google. An external network request is not automatically a cookie, but it is relevant to privacy. Self-hosting the font is recommended to remove this third-party request.
Hosting or error-reporting services may process technical information. Their live behaviour, storage use and retention have not yet been confirmed.
Consent and your choices
Non-exempt storage or access must not run before valid consent. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and withdrawable. Strictly necessary storage for a service you request may be exempt. Other statutory exceptions have specific conditions; there is no blanket exemption for analytics.
No optional tracking preference control is provided because the application does not currently configure optional tracking. Before adding any, the company must complete the inventory and implement the consent or objection controls required for each purpose. Your browser lets you inspect, block or clear website storage; blocking necessary storage may affect requested services. Browser settings alone do not replace the website’s consent duties.
